Let’s Talk Safety.

Just two days ago, on November 24, I was waiting for my train to arrive at Mahim station. It must’ve been around 8 pm. A lady sitting next to me had a bag at her feet. The train pulled in to the platform and she got in, while I decided to wait for the next train to arrive, as this one was really crowded. A minute later I realized that the bag which I thought to have been hers, was still sitting there.

Of Pinwheel Trees…

Each individual leaf spins on its own, while the leaves of other trees only rustle. Ever noticed?

Peepal leaves look like a chaos of pinwheels. Especially in the winters where the deep green turns blushing pink. Come wind, whirl they go.

Speed up! Or May be not?

Has our life become so fast-paced that we’ve become habituated to overtaking others even though we are not in a hurry? Have we forgotten what the word ‘relaxed’ means? I got thinking about this a week ago, while crossing a forever crowded Suburban Railway bridge in Mumbai.
